What is vibe coding?
The definition
Vibe coding means describing what you want to an AI and accepting the code it produces without reading it. You get something that works in a demo very quickly. That is not the same as something that holds up in production.
Why it matters to you
It’s an excellent way to prove an idea, and a poor way to sell it.
The generated code must be reviewed before it takes on real customers.
Moving off the tool doesn’t mean throwing away what was built.
A real-life example
A prototype validated in three weeks signed its first ten customers. It took four more weeks before it could keep them safely.
